	The California Academy of Sciences, one of the oldest science institutions in the United States, conducts research that is world renown. In 2003, it attracted over 1 million visitors. While its research division studies the effects human-induced climate change has already had on the earth's biodiversity, the new Academy's building will be a demonstration that global warming is a problem with achievable solutions.
